To be eligible, new construction, conversion or renovation projects must have been completed from Jto August 2, 2021. The Gold Key Awards competition recognizes the influential and innovative design work in the international hospitality industry. Both winners and finalists will also be highlighted in the Winter 2021 issue of Boutique Design magazine. In addition, winners for two categories- Emerging Hotel Concept and Best Eco- or Socially Conscious Hotel-were announced during the event. Winners in 23 categories, as well as the Judges’ So Cool award winner and the Designer of the Year, were revealed during a ceremony on November 15th at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York in conjunction with BDNY. The 2021 Gold Key judges selected these standout projects from a competitive field of nearly 400 submissions from more than 100 design firms around the world. Winners have been announced for the 41st annual Gold Key Awards for Excellence in Hospitality Design, the industry’s oldest and most prestigious awards program for hospitality interiors, sponsored by Boutique Design magazine.
